ONE-OF-A-KIND 1970s FOLK-ART TEXTILE ART
These are a magnificent, true pair of original vintage 1970s low-rise hip hugger bell-bottom jeans.
While the interior fabric brand tag has gently worn away over the last 50 years, their authenticity is fully guaranteed by the original, iconic stamped metal "Landlubber" snap button fully intact above the zipper fly.
These jeans are a breathtaking capsule of 1970s counterculture fashion. They feature extensive, highly detailed custom DIY customization, including vibrant corduroy, checkerboard and denim fabric patches, a beautifully textured corduroy insert, and stunning hand-embroidered flowers and green cross-stitching accenting the back seat seam.
Because I wore these throughout my high school years in the early 70s, they possess an incredible, genuine "thrashed" aesthetic and aged denim patina that modern reproductions simply cannot replicate. They are being sold completely "as-is" to preserve their incredible folk-art history.
